It is important to me that high school students feel comfortable and safe to learn online. I understand and know how to support shy and anxious students, as well as students with learning needs.
I am a registered teacher with 13 years' experience teaching English, Drama and/or Dance. This means that I am confident teaching NCEA and IB tutorials and can make sure my students know what they need to do to achieve with excellence. I also have primary and intermediate experience as well.

After gaining an Honours' Degree in Engineering, I worked for Rolls Royce Aero Engines in Development. I then decided to become a teacher, and have never regretted the decision, as it combines my love for both learning and communication.
My forty-two years of teaching includes positions as the Physics' Head of Department and later for Mathematics. This involved teaching both subjects to Level 3. I have also spent time as an advisor with the Qatar Education Ministry.
Tuition is a team effort. Student and mentor work together to plan, find problem areas and overcome them.
