At intermediate school, your child should be able to use decimals in calculations, use cube roots and radicals, and predict negative and positive equations using rounding. They should be able to rearrange formulae and are familiar with algebraic equations. They will become more familiar with specific aspects and language found in geometry, measurements, statistics and probability.
